What are Acupuncture meridians?
Acupuncture meridians are energy pathways in the body that have been
therapeutically used for over 5000 years. These meridians conduct life
force energy, or Qi (pronounced "chee") in and around all parts of the
body. Blockage or interference in these meridian pathways can result in
energetic imbalances that may contribute to negative health conditions.
The primary goal of acupuncture is to restore energetic balance and
proper energy flow to the meridians, thus allowing your body to function
normally and return to health naturally.

What does my P.I.E score mean?
Within the P.I.E. (Personal Integrated Energetics) chart, each wedge of
the circle represents one meridian pathway. Those shown in green are
balanced and functioning properly. Colors that do not extend to the
edge of the circle identify and classify your meridian energy imbalances.

Will I receive a copy?
Yes. We can email or print up a copy for your records. There will be
charts and explainations to help you better understand the results. We
can repeat the Digital Meridian Imaging analysis periodically to track
your progress. In the office and via email you can compare the results
from each analysis.
How much does it cost?
As a patient receiving traditional acupuncture treatments, there is no cost
for this service, it is included with your sessions. If you are coming to
our office for community acupuncture, there is a $10 charge for this service.
