I enjoy setting up a still life composition of bottles and jars. Usually, they can be found around my studio-ink cans, solvent containers, jars of pigments, etc. I wait for the right moment to photograph these groupings based on light flowing around and through the shapes. As the objects take on a persona - sometimes somber, sometimes playful - I then begin shooting them, I then prepare the images for etching them on metal, and the process I use is a modern one, covering my plate with film originally used for the computer circuit industry.
