ACD-330T TRUE RMS CLAMP-ON
Just as Amprobe's famous RS series fulfilled the electrical contractor's needs for a reliable and rugged instrument over 40 years ago, the ACD-330T was designed to meet the contractor's needs of today - and into the next century. As the number of non-linear loads increase, so does the requirement of an instrument with the ability to measure and display True RMS values. Non-linear loads, or loads that do not draw a sinusoidal current, can cause an average sensing instrument (calibrated to display RMS of a sinewave) to display inaccurate results. The ACD-330T provides the user with the ability to accurately measure True RMS AC Current to 1000A and True RMS AC Voltage to 1000V. The dual display enables the Frequency up to 1kHz to be displayed simultaneously during current measurements (through the jaw) or during voltage measurements (through the test probes). By entering the dynamic recording mode, which disables the auto power off feature, Maximum, Average, and Minimum values of all parameters for the selected range can be recorded. The PEAK mode provides the ability to capture peak inrush current or voltage glitches with a duration of 1 millisecond or more. DC voltage to 1000V and Resistance to 4 kOhms are also featured.
